Why Fruit Juice Can Ruin Your Diet

Losing weight can be tough due to the many misconceptions about what to eat when trying to get rid of those pounds.  Balanced meals that include fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats are always a safe bet, but many people tend to overindulge. Fructose Consumption Not as Safe as You Think

Though the latest trends in weight loss have been riding the low-carbohydrate wave for years, a study published by the University of Florida says that cutting starchy foods out of your diet may not be as important as limiting the amount of sugar you eat, mainly fructose.  This comes as a surprise as fructose is a sugar that naturally occurs in fruit, and many say it is the best to consume because the body takes longer to break it down than refined sugars.
